The NECCC Executive Board at a meeting held last Sunday [Editor: Summer 2009] decided to drop both nature and pictorial SLIDE interclub competitions effective with the 2009-2010 season. That decision was made reluctantly, but a drop in the number of participating clubs made it impractical to continue offering slide competitions. We also determined that almost all clubs participating in the slide interclub competitions are already participating in the electronic competitions.

If members shooting film still want to have their slides evaluated by judges, we can participate in a Slide Circuit program. See details in attached PDF and notify me if you are interested in participating.

The brochures for this year’s event in Amherst have already gone out. If you didn’t get one, you can find this information on the NECCC website.
