Our Boys of Summer

Celebrating their 5th Anniversary in 2009, the Worcester Tornadoes are a professional baseball team and members of the Canadian-American League. They were league Champions in their first season, and are currently in first place for the second half of the season. Games are played at Hanover Insurance Park at Fitton Field, on the campus of Holy Cross College. Fitton Field itself is celebrating it’s 100th anniversary this year. Baseball Hall of Famers Lou Gehrig, Babe Ruth and Ted Williams all played ball at Fitton Field at various times.

Our Meetings

We have regular meetings every 4th Wednesday at 7:15 pm at the Holden Municipal Light Building, 1 Holden St., Holden, MA (at the intersection of Holden St. and Shrewsbury St.) Regular meetings run from September to May.

We also have a series of Technical/Educational Meetings at the same location as above. These meetings are on the 2nd Monday of each month at 7:15 pm and run throughout the year including June, July, and August.

Be sure to check the SCHEDULE page on our web site for the latest info on all our meetings.
What’s New

Our new club year starts in September. Mark the 4th Wednesday in your calendar for the regular meetings and the 2nd Monday for our Technical/Educational meetings.
