Basically, we are a camera club that meets twice a month in Holden, MA, Worcester County, USA. The club is affiliated with the New England Camera Club Council.

Our regular club meeting — at the Holden Municipal Light building in Holden, MA — is the 4th Wednesday of each month from September to May. There is also a technical/educational meeting each month, throughout the year, on the 2nd Monday of each month. Meetings start at 7:15 pm and run to 9:15 pm. See our web site for more details.

Tips For Our Editors

WordPress is a blogsite. The first page contains “posts” which are dated, can have comments, and are generally the things that visitors first see. Pages are different. What you’re reading now is a page. They are more like traditional “individual” websites pages as they are more pemanent. They are not blog-like posts. On WordPress, they may have comments as well, but don’t accumulate automatically as do posts.

Pages may appear in navigation tabs on some themes. (Our site uses such a theme, but not all do.)

Widgets are items that appear at the side or bottom of all pages. They are the same for all pages, too. Some of our widgets are text boxes which contain convenient information like what’s coming up next. (Or whatever the club wants to put there.) You can read more about how WordPress works for us here.
